Hey fish-lips! You look great for a person who just went through major surgery.
Did I forget to mention all the drooling due to the splint?? I struggled with that too but it sounds like you've got your bib positioned perfectly. :D
You look great! I can't wait to see how your face changes as the swelling goes down! Thanks for sharing the pictures!
You barely look bruised! I think your lips will get to close in the next few days. You might not even feel it at first, you'll just notice less drooling. I didn't know my lips were touching until I saw them in the mirror. I can sort of tell but they're very numb. It makes all the difference with the drooling.
Yay, day 5 is almost over!
Oh, as far as tape goes...good luck :\ That stuff is tricky. It's going to take a little time I think. If you're not going anywhere, I'd say don't worry about it. Work on it a little bit each day. Be careful!
Hey Amy,
You look great! and the profile looks really good too, even it you can't close your lips.
Trust me, I remember that all too well...was only 8 weeks ago and I was sitting it the exact same boat as you! :)
I refused to wear a bib, but I didn't have a splint either so I'm sure my drooling was a bit more controlled! :)
Keep yourself hydrated and try and get as much protein into you as you can. It will help you heal faster!
I'll keep checking in on you!

LOL I have to say I love your side comments on all your photos! First the 'bubbles' then the Dora pic. But I hope you are feeling better.
